The Grim Lover (2026)

Following the tragic car accident that takes the life of his long-time partner, Fah, anesthesiologist Dr. Won falls into severe grief. His life worsens when he is falsely accused of negligence in a patient’s death. Driven to despair and attempting to end his own life, Won is unexpectedly stopped by a grim reaper named Sipsi (meaning “Fourteen”), who bears an exact physical resemblance to his late boyfriend.

Sipsi refuses to let Won die and forces him to confront his reality. As Sipsi sticks by Won’s side, the two team up to expose the medical conspiracy that framed Won and to uncover the truth behind Fah’s death. Throughout their investigation, the boundaries between life, death, and lingering love blur as an intense relationship develops between the doctor and the reaper.
